the Encorps Winterguard family is a long-standing fixture in the Calgary community.  With a combination of challenging equipment and movement skills and a fun and inviting atmosphere, Encorps inspires our members to push themselves to the limit, enjoy the experience and act as emissaries to the positive benefits of performing arts.

Land Acknowledgement

Encorps Winterguard acknowledges that we rehearse, perform, and create on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 Nations — including the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai, Tsuut’ina, and Îyârhe Nakoda Nations (consisting of the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney Nations)— as well as the Métis Nation of Alberta, Districts 5 & 6.

We honour the generations of Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land long before us and continue to do so today. As an organization rooted in artistry, teamwork, and community, we commit to learning from the spirit of respect, resilience, and connection that these Nations embody.
